We are a holistic medical clinic focusing on informed choice regarding all aspects of perimenopause and menopause care; from lifestyle advice, over the counter supplements, to Body Identical Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) , always based upon BMS and NICE guidelines. We believe passionately about improving the lives of women. Being in the midst of our own individual perimenopausal journeys, it has become apparent that there is a significant lack of accessible information and widely available treatments for the problems associated with this important transitional stage of life. We are based in Oxford and offer face to face clinic appointments but also virtual appointments via zoom or telephone. We also offer blood tests in the clinic.

My visit to see Dr Hacking at the Oxford Hormone Clinic has been 100% satisfactory. We started off with a very friendly and personable meeting followed by a brilliant referral. Everything went well and now I am super-excited to finally be on the right path.Accurate, up-to-date knowledge and a friendly, professional approach. Very quick to respond I was so grateful the clinic managed to get everything sorted in an extremely quick window of time. Thanks!
Really great response. It was easy to book and quickly able to get an appointment. Dr Hooper was fantastic, she really listened to me and took time to understand what I needed regarding my menopause symptoms. She gave clear advice and guidance and followed up my additional queries quickly and with a real kindness and empathy. I found the whole experience so helpful and ended a year of feeling frustrated with just being given a prescription which did not address the real problem. I now have a tailored prescription and feel I am on the path to regaining my old self.
The professional and gentle approach of the doctor made me feel any question was relevant. At no point did I feel rushed or uncomfortable. I felt I could have told her anything and not felt judged or made to feel foolish. I had been hesitant to attend such a clinic at my age but quickly realised that it was still appropriate to seek medical assistance and am pleased that I did.
r speedy replies to a couple of queries I had via email and she was just as reassuring. I have already made recommendations to several of my friends who are trying to make up their mind around HRT or not.
es I wanted to address. Dr Melanie tweaked my medication and now I'm feeling tonnes better and much reassured that I am in good hands going forwards. Sadly the NHS GPs near me just don't seem to have the time or the knowledge to give to menopause and HRT, prescribing standard doses/one size fits all solutions. Can't recommend enough. Lovely people too.
This was my second attempt at private hormone treatment, with the first (which won’t be named) giving me the same advice as my GP. I was over the moon with the professionalism and knowledge of Dr Hacking. I left feeling valued, listened too and with a whole new HRT regime to try. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this fantastic clinic.
like your going mad!The documented recommendation and prescription arrived quickly so I could start the process immediately. A month and a half down the road and I am feeling so much more human and emotionally stable. I thoroughly recommend the Oxford Hormone Clinic.
My treatment has been tailored to my individual needs. I have had a difficult menopause and tried quite a few HRT options that haven't suited my sensitivity to some therapies. 6 years in and brain fog , little or no libido, disturbed sleep, 4 fast tracked appointments for polyps in as many years! I finally find myself on a positive course. Highly recommend the clinic
Dr Susanne Hooper was fantastic. Being able to talk to someone knowledgeable who really listened and was able to offer the help I needed (that my GP wouldn’t) was such an uplifting relief. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was very expensive. I had held off going for about 4 years because of the cost and it saddens me that this is unaffordable for so many women.
After months of struggling with symptoms I am beginning to feel better.
