The data that you never knew you needed. I’ve always been someone who has wondered what’s going on, on the inside and Fitness genes has unlocked that data for me. I really like the way that Fitness genes have set out all the data and the fact that the data keeps updating for further insights is really useful. It’s easy to understand and the useful hints and tips on how to make a difference are really plentiful. There are lots of meal options for your macros and the work out plans are very reasonably priced. I have recommended to lots of friends already.
I was lucky enough to win a kit at the NEC bike show although I was already interested. Easy to use kit and instructions and results were returned a bit quicker than scheduled. Communication through the process and support after has been outstanding. The results are really extensive and when I was not quite sure where to start processing the information I contacted customer service (Alex). Got a prompt and really helpful response. Had I paid for the kit I would say excellent value for money and would definitely recommend. Thank you FitnessGenes!
Super Interesting stuff. I'd recommend if your curious to see what your DNA holds inside, I particularly enjoyed learning I share a Gene with professional mountain climbers called ACE, explains my lust for mountains! However, there is one problem, there are various genes that indicate contradicting consequences. There's one gene I have that says I have low levels of inflammation and there's another that says I have extremely high. There's a couple examples like this. If you guys could come up with a way of helping us understand these seeming contradictions, that would make it 5 stars!
Finding it absolutely fascinating to see how my genetics can help me adapt a lifestyle plan for health and fitness. Something I’ve worked out over the years but I now have scientific backup and some changes I can now implement immediately. The company were great and I received a blue light discount. This will make for great Christmas presents for my family.
I've been using Fitness Gene for years. It's helped me to learn more about my body. New layout is easy to use, but sometimes get opposite recommendations depending on trait, so some may get confused. Ex. One trait says high reps low weight is best for me, but to max another it's high reps low weight. Would be helpful to know what's the MOST beneficial though.
Contradictory information. After a whole speech on how high homocysteine levels damage your blood vessels my results are lower than average and then give me a plan to increase it. The first advice is to quit smoking. I don't smoke. This is not only a waste of money but dangerous to health. Do not follow the advice given unless you have checks that it has a scientific backing.
It was so interesting the results they gave you - more than you expected to know about yourself. I’m not versed in scientific/medical terms but they explained very well. I’ve gotten tips on how to reach my fitness goals based on my genetics so very excited to see how everything turns out. Just wish they had an app like 23&me.
Fitness genes has given me an in-depth insight into why my body reacts in different ways to certain exercises or lifestyle changes. I have yet to try their workout plans which is the next step and why I've not given 5 stars. I would love an app as it would be easier to keep track. I would and have recommended the test for friends and family.
It is great, lots of good information, easy navigation. I purchased long time ago and I am constantly receiving updates regarding new results. Truly recommend for whom wants to know more about themselves, exercises and so on.
Explanation of reports is very detailed and scientific yet easily understandable, user-friendly website and creative recipes! Some of the workouts could be more varied like giving options of exercises in case you struggle with form or prefer not to do the same thing for months. Maybe give insight on trending movements and studies that blow up in the online fitness community.
