Think you know your physics? At Physics Owls, Latoya helps students and teachers understand physics concepts, access learning materials and resources, and offer full worked solutions to multiple choice questions. Her physics tutoring for students is excellent as she has over 10+ years experience, is Oxford qualified, and holds multiple degrees in physics and maths. She helps students increase their confidence, understanding, and application of knowledge which leads to increases of 1-2 grades on average. She also helps with personal statements, research projects, university entrance tests, and interview practice. In addition, we are in the process of developing and delivering our Oxbridge courses which employ the Oxbridge learning method, allowing your child to experience what it would be like to study at Oxford or Cambridge.

Overall, Latoya is a great teacher with a genuine passion in teaching and education. She always goes through the material, questions, exams and finds a way to simplify it and explain it in the easiest way possible. When having difficulty to understand something, she is patient and able to change and adapt her teaching strategies to suit your learning style. Personality wise, she is kind, funny and easy to talk to which makes her classes very engaging. She always tries to show the fun side of physics, which is highly useful if you are having a hard time loving physics (like me: p). 100% would recommend!

Latoya has helped me not only with A2 materials but also went through A1 materials all in one year. The learning experience I've had with her for physics was far better than with any other physics teacher I've ever had. She is incredibly patient, understanding and kind to everyone as well as make physics easy to understand.

I had a more than pleasant learning experience with Latoya. She made physics easier to understand and enjoyable. Her teaching technique works well with me as she is flexible and tries to understand teenagers like me and adjust the way she approaches her students. She is also less strict than most teachers I've met before but she still keeps me in line. I managed to learn more from her during the time I've had her as a teacher than other physics teachers. I think I am more than lucky to have had her as my teacher, especially physics as it is a pretty tough subject.

Latoya is undoubtedly one of the best tutors I've been with so far. She has a way of teaching that makes me genuinely excited for her class. She made a challenging subject such as physics understandable. She is patient, understanding and kind. A teacher like her is extremely rare these days, and I consider myself lucky to stumble across her. I wouldn't make it through A1 without her. Hence why I would definitely recommend her.
