I had great difficulty in buying into the Oxford Landtrust, because of the difficulty of your aptitude test, which I failed twice. I am thoroughly in favour of ensuring that investors know the risks that they face, but the test questions were much too technical and would surely put off many people. Friendly attitude came over. Did best to make the process clear. Could emphasise more how important it is to read all the information carefully before doing the 'test'.

As ever with Ethex, it was a very straightforward process. For anyone new to ethical investing, the app 'walks you' through the process, so you are aware all the time what you are committing to.

I had difficulty getting through the quiz for investors & found some questions rather ambiguous. I’m not a first time investor & don’t feel ‘at risk’ but found this approach off-putting. Had I not been very keen to invest I’d have given up. I expect many potential investors will have dropped off - not returning after 14 days.

I'd love to rate Ethex more highly but I can't get accurate information for my tax return. Tax statements are incomplete - dealing only with investments where tax is deducted at source. I want to know what has or has not been paid on ALL investments made through the platform, regardless of whether Ethex are the registrar. This would be a whole lot easier if all investees had to make all payments via Ethex. Because they don't, it's impossible to keep track.

Really clear explanations, friendly staff on the phone. I find the investments well-chosen, interesting. I needed help and was given information with a lot of attention to details, making sure I understood everything, and a lot of patience. Thank you.

It was a complicated process BUT the language was easy to understand as I went through it. To start with I was unsure of the link between Ethex and the project I was looking for; the investment project could have been more obviously signposted rather than the general overview of Ethex- I thought I had the wrong place and had to look for the one I wanted to invest in. Easy to make payment. I was left very clear about the principles of Ethex even though I hadn't looked for that info.

Hi there, after an early repayment I decided to invest further in Solar For Schools. It was the only investment which met my criteria: bonds with a reasonable return, redeemable within 5-6 years. However, it means that my Ethex investments are now more concentrated than I’d prefer. More choice needed please… Rob

I trust Ethex. If they recommend an investment then I feel safe. It was an easy process and the interest will be paid into my wallet with Ethex. I have 5 investments now with them.

Easy platform to use. Makes investing easy. I'm unclear on whether I've successfully invested in an ISA wrapper though. Time will tell I guess.
